Our works/Services have so far been focused on the Needy and the Underprivileged persons i.e Orphans, Widows, handicapped persons etc. Notwithstanding, we have so far exceeded limits by actively participating in rural development thereby providing assistance to quarter unions, villages, promoting talents and just combating Covid-19 in Bafmeng.
Overcomers Care Int’l / Arise and Shine came at a time when there was much need to give the needy, the physically/mentally challenged persons, Orphans, Widows etc. The Village of Bafmeng is a bigger victim of the crisis in Cameroon that has been rocking the English speaking zone for 5 years now. Almost all families in this village have lost a love one. Many have ran into unknown areas, some to nearby Nigeria, some to the French speaking part of the country. For that reason, we have seen that there is need to help those staying back without parents, the widows, the IDPs hiding around other parts of the country. Overcomers Care has been so far able to help more than 1000 IDPs as at now and many more in process. We continue to say thanks to Martin M. Nkwain for this loadable initiative in prayers and financial support giving these victims a meaning.

OVERCOMERS CARE INTERNATIONAL INC., is organized exclusively for humanitarian and charitable purposes including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code. No part of the net earnings of OVERCOMERS CARE INTERNATIONAL INC., shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributable to its Board of Directors, employees, trustees, officers, or other private persons, except that the corporation shall be authorized and empowered to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered and to make payments and distributions in furtherance of the purposes set forth in the purpose clause hereof.
Amongst many intervention by the organization in Cameroon and other parts of the world, is the sad case in Limbe where a lady put to birth a twin and died immediately after delivery.
While many accompanied the corps to burial, Overcomers Care International / Arise and Shine- Sembong took the direction to the hospital where these children were kept. The assistance in prayers, in kind in materials and in cash was a great support to the family besides these little ones.
